Track Rules

All classes with a specification motor (17.5, 21.5, & 25.5) are run as “Blinky” classes. This means no ESC timing or ramping is allowed. No exceptions. Maximum allowable voltage is 8.409 volts. Anything 8.41 volts or higher is illegal and dangerous.

Maximum of 3 classes can be run on any given race day.


Classes:


Rookie – Run what you’ve got.

21.5 Touring Car – 190mm width 4 door sedan body. Any ROAR Approved 21.5 turn motor and any ROAR Approved ESC with no timing or ramping, evident from the ESC’s LED Blinking. ROAR spec electronics, Team Powers TC Tires. 1320g minimum weight

17.5 Touring Car – 190mm width 4 door sedan body. Any ROAR Approved 17.5 turn motor and any ROAR Approved ESC with no timing or ramping, evident from the ESC’s LED Blinking. ROAR spec electronics, Team Powers TC Tires. 1320g minimum weight

Modified Touring Car –190mm width 4 door sedan body. Open ESC and Motor. Team Powers TC Tires. 1320g minimum weight

USGT – 190mm width 2 door GT body. Gravity RC USGT Spec tires must be used. Any ROAR Approved 21.5 turn motor and any ROAR Approved ESC with no timing or ramping, evident from the ESC’s LED Blinking. 1350g

FWD - 190mm width realistic FWD body. Gravity RC USGT Spec tires must be used. Hobbywing 17.5 fixed timing/Juststock combo or ROAR Approved 21.5 turn motor and ROAR Approved ESC with no timing or ramping, evident from the ESC’s LED Blinking. 1250g minimum weight.

Vintage Trans Am – We follow the guidelines set by http://www.usvintagetransam.com/  Protoform or Gravity VTA tires are the only tires permitted.  ROAR Approved ESC with no timing or ramping (evident from the ESC’s LED Blinking) 25.5 motors, 6000mah maximum capacity batteries, and driver figures must be used. 1400g minimum weight.

F1 – 190mm maximum width. Realistic F1 front suspension to be mounted within the confines of the body. Rubber Tires with purpose-made Formula 1 Rims. ROAR Approved 25.5 turn motor and electronic speed control with no timing or ramping programmed. This is evident from the ESC’s LED blinking (also referred to as blinky mode). 1020g minimum weight.

Tamiya Euro Truck – Tamiya Man Trucks only.  No option parts allowed with exception of bearings and 53619 oil filled dampers with original kit springs. ESC from the kit must be used.  Deans Connectors are legal, as well and any lubricants or greases. No traction compound on the kit tires is allowed.

Nitro Touring Touring Car – 200mm width, Foam tires 30mm maximum width. 0.12 (2.1cc) displacement engine maximum. 75cc maximum fuel tank.

Tamiya TT-02 – Chassis and body must be assembled per instructions, with exceptions of the radio box and motor cover (omited).  Kit Motor and ESC must be used without any alteration with exception of a Deans or XT60 Connector to connect to the battery.  The following option parts will be allowed: bearings, pinion gear (up to 25t), hardware, servo saver/horn, steering bellcranks and rack, drive hexes, rear hub carriers, universal shafts, drive cups and prop shaft. Tires will be the Team Powers spoked-rim FWTT34H treaded tire or kit tires.

Spec Nitro FW06 The Kyosho FW06 is the only chassis allowed in this class.  Team Powers 32-36 compound Touring Car tires are to be used.  Original engine, exhaust, and shock springs must be used.  Servos and the electronics package is open.  GT or Touring Car bodies are allowed.


There will be a suspension to those found maliciously breaking these rules. The length of the suspension is up to determination by the race director.
